The town
VanillaCity has two parts. The Town is City Central, built round its courthouse square, plus Ogeechee Park down the riverwalk. Downtown is at the far end of the Midland Pacific line.

City Central
The square has a gazebo, a flagpole and two cannons given in 1913. City Hall is across Main Street, there are shops on every side, the Ogeechee River runs along the bottom and the railroad down the east side. Two loops of traffic drive the streets and stop at the lights.

Ogeechee Park
Along the riverwalk, past City Central's west end. The park has basketball courts, a riverbank and a pier for fishing, the boathouse where Mo rents boats, a playground with a slide and swings, and Coach Darnell. In winter it's under snow, the sledding hill opens for sleds and tubes, and the lake freezes over for skating.
VanillaCity (Downtown)
Downtown
The far end of the Midland Pacific, 90 seconds down the line. The railway comes out of a tunnel, passes a white lighthouse and pulls into a granite station with a copper-roofed pavilion. In front is Station Square, with its fountain and maples, then a street of shopfronts and the harbour boardwalk, with a ferry out on the water. More shops open as Downtown grows.
